A Host of New Product Announcements from StormAudio!
StormAudio have announced a number of updates and features that it will deliver during 2021.
The press release (downloadable below) gives the full detail of these exciting new developments. However, we are delighted to hear about new developments in the following areas:
Audio over IP (AoIP)
A new module will deliver AoIP facilities using the AES67 / Ravenna protocol with up to 32 inputs and 32 outputs.
HDMI 2.1
A new HDMI card, developed with Cypress Technologies will deliver compatibility with the HDMI 2.1 / HDCP 2.3 protocols.
StormXT
This new software will enable StormAudio products to 'fill in' empty channels when the number of channels in the incoming soundtrack is less than the number of speakers in the installation.
Remapping
This new propriety software will allow remapping of audio objects when the physical layout of the room does not match layout standards, further enhancing the audio experience.
As you can imagine, this means there will be even more reasons to make StormAudio your cinema electronics of choice.
